Richard Wyszynski presents a unique narrative tribute to composer ALAN HOVHANESS on the 100th anniversary of his birth, illustrated with the composer's music.
The program includes:
Christmas Snow for piano
Oror, op 1, for violin and piano
The Night of the White Cat for clarinet and piano
Suite for English Horn and Bassoon
Wyszynski, an alumnus of Northwestern University, has been principal flutist with two national orchestras, lectured and taught at several area colleges, produced radio broadcasts and appeared on local and national radio programs received a Rockefeller Foundation grant for his music criticism, and is founder/conductor of the Cardinal Chamber Orchestra.
